Sorry can’t kill an ideology with violence only create martyr and future flare up this is a job for education and address socioeconomic factors that allow vulnerable people to be sucked into supremacist gangs.
Two truths that are not in conflict with each oner: 1) fascism is a systemic issue and as ideology will outlive any individual; 2) fascist individuals should not be tolerated
Sure.
70 years after we fought a war to defeat fascism, it has been resurrected under the guise of American conservative populisim, in no small part because people have forgotten the lesson of WWII.
I mean, if you’re under the impression that we can somehow defeat fascism for all time then never ever have to worry about it ever again, then you’ll be sadly disappointed. Freedom requires vigilance.
I understand how that’s an appealing narrative that helps you make sense of the world and manage your feelings, and in that sense it is a very good narrative. But it’s not reality. The solution you’re so proud of requires a mass purge every three generations, and you think that’s just the way it has to be. Fully buying in to a narrative built around a cosmic conflict between good and evil FFS is buying in to the whole model of fascism. The ruling class WANTS the slaughter, the boom, the crunch, the conflict, and the next slaughter. Every step in the cycle, they ratchet their power and wealth. It’s not an accident that it keeps happening, and the solution isn’t just to play your role on the other side of the stage. It isn’t naive kids playing nazi who are your enemy, you naive kid playing WWII conscript. Fascism never ever occurs in the absence of wealthy capitalists. Shooting their employees doesn’t fucking solve anything.
Not so. Not remotely. You know when the other most prosperous times were? After plagues, famines, wars, and other mass deaths. Not the gloat you wish it was.
Except what I said, which was “the most prosperous in the history of the human race” is 100% true. Quality of life for essentially everyone in the entire world went up in the 2nd half of the 20th century way beyond what they were before, even in countries like North Korea and Somalia. Advancements in technology, medicine, and globalization brought wealth to billions, much of which was due to the world order brought about by the allied powers.
Also, not sure why you think fighting fascism in that war was such a bad thing. Do you really think we’d be better off if the Nazis were not opposed?
That’s not how points of logic work. You only need one. If you reject some of them and others remain, you haven’t gotten anywhere except to be a distraction. Didn’t move the discussion anywhere.

Idiot.
Idk, it worked pretty well in the 1940s.
“They say the prisoner of Spandau was a symbol of defeat Whilst Hess remained in prison, and the fascists they were beat
So the promise of an Aryan world wold never materialize
So why did they all come out of the woodwork on the day the Nazi died” - Chumbawumba
(We didn’t kill enough Nazis the first time)
The world is riddled with maggots and the maggots are getting fat.
Love that song and Chumbawumba is the best punk band ever.
then explain 2026
Sure.

Did it? WWII worked well? 100 million. Dead. Huge economic ruin.
Yet the decades after were the most prosperous in the history of the human race. Sounds like it was worth it.

Half your point is that is was bad for the economy?

Yea but it’s fun though. And most of these Nazis are middle class and have most of the world handed to them.
If you can afford to dress like a Nazi you can afford to not be a fucking Nazi.
