For the record, as an Albertan our province may not have been protesting US alcohol, but I don’t personally know anyone buying any.

I appreciate you taking the time to write this out, but I knew all of that and didn’t really address the question. I was asking why the commenter above mine was using an auth service, like Keycloak, on LAN.
It has been answered a few times, thanks.

Out of curiosity, what is the advantage of using something like this on LAN only?
Fruits and veg have been tough. I haven’t had strawberries in so long, but oh well. We’ve recently been getting BC peaches and blueberries, that’s been nice. And eating more mango, which is almost always from Mexico.
On the veg side, things are often listed as “can/usa” or “mex/usa” so it’s hard to know really how much of that is from USA.

And don’t stop until Trump is gone, at the very bare minimum. The American people voted for this and have the capability to remove him from office, if they were so inclined.

Shouldn’t have stopped booing after the last bout, imho.

The benefits from being those things have nothing to do with being American.

Nah. Not only will I not buy US booze, I’m going to continue to not buy US anything that I can help. I’ve put more money into Canadians’ pockets in the last few years than maybe my whole life and I’m feeling pretty damn good about it.

The idea of them is incredible. I grew up watching sci fi galore with holographic AI personal assistants, and AR glasses, and 3D printers, etc. The idea of these technologies is amazing.
The reality of them is a little different. It’s hard to get behind certain advancements when they are completely in the control of a handful of people on Earth who have more wealth than everyone else combined. It’s impossible to ethically endorse these projects when the companies responsible have time and again proven themselves to be untrustworthy. And I mean, you shouldn’t trust them with your name and age, let alone videos and pictures of you—and strangers!—naked in a doctor’s office.
The technology and the possibilities are awesome and awe inspiring. The society we live in is not ready for them. Hell, much of the world still hasn’t caught up with how to adequately regulate and legislate for the internet revolution that happened over thirty years ago, nevermind for smart glasses that can always be recording.

I don’t really have an interest in running a public board, and the reason I use(d) that subreddit was because I am also not interested in looking for the deals myself.
However, from another comment, redlib looks like a decent solution for the time being.

There’s zero reason to go to reddit intentionally
Know of a viable replacement for r/bapcsalescanada?

Really neat of you to do and to share, thanks. Not to sound ungrateful, but honest question… What good are these numbers if they are the floor?
Edited to add: filthy clanker.

Edit: Adding this to My flilters in uBlock Origin seems to fix the issue for the time being:
||reddit.com^$header=referer:
No bueno here, it just redirected me to a blank page. Still couldn’t use old reddit.

Would love to have a viable alternative to r/bapcsalescanada on Piefed.

I mean, I guess I’m not informed enough to know. I just know that this one has a GUI, and certain automation functions. I got it all set up and now I don’t even have to think about it, it just downloads my desired YT vids, which then get scanned by Jellyfin and show up there, which is what OP wanted. 🤷

You can rest and leave the good fight to others without just giving up completely.

So interesting, I was literally just talking about this last night with some friends.

I’ve been using YouTube-DL

“It is a one time fee that you pay annually.” One of the best Portlandia skits.
For me, it’s first and foremost how they were/are trained and who gets all the profits/benefits.
