Ah, that doesn’t shock me. Yeah I left when they started like disabling custom launchers or something, and I realized getting a Google TV would be easier than getting around that restriction.

Hmm…well it’s been a couple years since I used my Fire Stick but I remember being able to sideload Android TV apps on there just like I can now with my Google TV device.
Honestly it’s just a glorified Google TV with a nicer remote. I feel like the only Fire TV device that might be interesting enough to consider buying would be the Fire Cube or the Fire Recast but IDEK if they still work anymore.
Yep. My parents have a Brother printer that I use, and I work in IT and got a free HP printer that I’m holding onto for when I move out. Otherwise, I’d buy a Brother printer.
Dont care. The only HP printers I’ll ever use moving forward are gonna be any I happen to get for free.
This is so cool
Hmm. I’m using Waterfox rn.
Which engine does it use?
Give it 2 and a half years
RCS support!
Even the political stuff I get, Lemmy was founded by people pretty far to the left.
But in general I don’t really care much. I share what I like, say what’s on my mind, and move on.
I’d just assumed downvoting everything that’s not a progressive op ed or a meme was part of Lemmy culture. All my LSF posts get downvoted too.
Or LineageOS, apparently…
Well…most EA games you quite even before the support ends. But not this one lol
I’d have lobbied for us to do an offline dynasty if I wasn’t going to be moving out in a year or two.
For me it’s literally just EA Sports College Football 25. I’ll be playing it for years (my brothers and dad have a family tradition of playing a college football dynasty mode together every year) so that makes a console worth it for me…probably not the PS5 Pro though.
That’s actually below market value for an external 4K UHD drive.
The PS5 is good enough if you can afford one
I’m pretty sure that would run you about the same as the external component, so there’s no benefit to going with a third-party accessory
Better than a PS5 Pro? Bruh 😂
Imagine having so few people at the office that the only way people know you’re working remotely is your Outlook status
