Yeah they transferred all of our network files held on our own private servers over to Teams. I didn’t even know that teams did file storage. I guess through one drive.

I can’t even change the length of time before the screen locks.
No, I can’t.
Depends where you live in Canada.
I prefer turning off all the breakers in my house, but whatever floats your boat!
Exact same over here. I don’t want an online account. I just don’t. I never will. I’d used Linux desktop a few times in the past but gaming was always bringing me back to windows. Finally my windows machine broke for no reason and after weeks of not being able to fix it I just installed Linux on top of it. Haven’t considered going back.
I know what you mean. My Linux machine breaks all the time but every time it’s my fault lol
Zathura, although it can be a little challenging to navigate on your first few goes.
Prologue is an iOS app that can play audiobooks from a Plex library. I didn’t know they were working on ABS compatibility but that would be great. As much as I love ABS, Prologue is far more polished.
Unless I’m going on a really long trip I never bring carryon. Just my small backpack with enough clothes for the trip (plus 2 socks and underwear). I feel like I should be given a cheaper [e] ticket for that.
What about personal items?
Safe injection sites have existed in Vancouver for over 20 years.
But don’t you need both hands on the keyboard when you type an address?
Thanks for the response! I guess it’s still not for me. I often have several tabs from the same site or tabs from websites who’s favicon I don’t recognize so the text is relevant to me.
When I want more real estate I just go full screen with F11.
As for focusing a hidden address bar, doesn’t ctrl-L do the trick?
I’ve heard a lot of people talk about vertical tabs but personally I don’t see the appeal. Can you explain to me what is desirable about vertical tabs?
Well what’s nice is that any device on your Tailscale network has a WireGuard connection between any other device on that network. You can also use exit nodes. While all of that can be achieved with WireGuard, the complexity of that can grow quite large as you add more nodes.

You’re not dumb you just haven’t needed that use case before.
Here’s an example of the last time JDownloader saved me. There was a website where people were posting archives of old skateboard videos. There were hundreds of links across dozens of pages in a forum. All links to sites like mega.
I was able to view all pages in one document and extracted all of the hundreds of links and put them in JDownloader. Over the course of the next several weeks JDownloader was able to manage those downloads without clogging my bandwidth. If a download failed it would notify me and I could retry it.
Can you imagine trying to do that in Firefox?
I ran arch on it for about a year - it’s a gen 9 i5. During that time I had a desktop that ran W10 on a gen 3 i5 and was quite a competent machine. Then with W11 and the TPM requirement that perfectly good windows box became ewaste.
The laptop is fine. Windows 11 is just garbage.
