Bots, AI, misinformation/disinformation, hatred, predators and depressed people.
My mental health ha thrived having deleted my meta account last year.

If racist hate and discrimination can’t be moderated and taken care of, it must be shut down in its entirety.
It’s no different than Nazism and people handing out paper flyers, also illegal. It must be treated as such to uphold any semblance of decent moral fabric throughout an interconnected world.

Every boardroom has their price.
Someday.

Not optimal, but the fearmongering our southern counterparts would have you believe regarding communism would be staggering if they contemplated playing Canadian tax rates.

What does their 2025 platform have to do with a traffic accident involving inmate transportation?
How are you connecting dots here?

Reddit thinks they’re an exclusivity club nowadays. Love that mentality for them, just a platform full of bots, misinformation purposed for political polarization.
They wouldn’t even let me delete my account last week, “errors occured” so I just uninstalled. Good riddance.

They weren’t on standby when the aboriginal reservations were burning in northwestern Ontario. They had to self evacuate, no help from provincial or federal govt.
But now that white communities are at risk they’re notifying CF to be on standby. Still to this day, assimilation by conflagration.
I expect better of my government.

I have discontinued many subscription based services due to all the price hiking and/or changing features I originally paid for.
Reading headlines like this always reassures me I’ve made the right choice. I used to pay for Amazon Prime (and the other sub channels that had content I enjoyed), Netflix, Spotify, Crave+Sportsnet. All of it replaced by YouTube Premium which I do get most of my money out of with its features including ad free music.
It’s been a couple years since I closed all my premium subscriptions and every so often I’ll get an email asking me to rejoin for 5.99 for 3 months and regular pricing thereafter (or similar price points), which only tells me the price hiking isn’t at all vital, it’s having your credit card information. It’s simple greed.
Keeping markets calm til Friday before they can run their buys and sells.
