Exactly my thought. LinkedIn didn’t scrape their own data.

Unfortunately, it was originally seeded with people from the meta mod community in Reddit and so they brought all that with them.
Some discussions are awesome, but anything remotely controversial is a pure echo chamber and you’ll get shouted down if you dissent.
Why do these articles never have a screenshot of the change. So annoying.
Gen Z is app savvy, not tech savvy. Very very different.
This is fucking ridiculous. I’m actually speechless.
You forgot to mention you use Arch, btw.

Thank you!
That screenshot looks like the old screenshots from the early browser wars with 20 toolbars stacked.
Man, it should. But far too often, people don’t realize that Google uses every data they have related to you for ad targeting.

Yes. I hate advertising companies.
They want me to buy a streaming stick from an advertising company and tell me it is going to be the experience that I’ve been looking for? Yeah… no.
This will either be canceled or enshittified immediately.
lol. That’s not how any of this works.
If you have content freely and publicly accessible, it will be read freely by humans and bots.
It must. I’m using 11pro and never see any of these ads
It goes on sale often. I think I got it for $50 a while back.
Easily worth it. Supporting a customer friendly business model is how we keep nice things.
I would rather use a device from a hardware company than an ad company.
I’ll just use I and stop using YouTube. I won’t purposefully poison my mind with ads.
This is it. Everything “just works” on windows. Until that exact same experience is available on Linux it will never take over. And no, I don’t mean “there is an app you can install for a distribution that makes it easy to…”. That is an immediate failure. It needs to be easy to do everything, out of the box, with no additional setup.
I say this as someone that uses windows, Mac, and various flavors of Linux every single day. I want this for Linux, but it isn’t there.
RIP Google Play Music. The best music service to ever exist.
