The idea that there’s a certain type of person that’s immune to a social tide is not very sound, in my opinion. If more people use genAI, they may teach people who could have been editors in later years to use genAI instead.

Yeah, it just hasn’t taken any of those jobs, apparently.
My first Linux PC was a steam deck. The next year I got a laptop for school and thought I might as well install Ubuntu to learn a thing or two. The next year I broke my Ubuntu install and decided to graduate to Arch just because I had the opportunity. That year was 2024 and after November 5th I decided that technofascists and proprietary software could fuck right off because that was one thing about life that I could control at that point. I stopped using windows entirely a few months later.

That fast, huh?

More like it would cause you to need the tool in order to be the tool that you are already mandated to be.

I love that program

That sounds like the conclusion I’m coming to. I just asked on the off-chance that someone says “well there’s this and this is how everyone does it” but it seems like that’s not the case.

It’s recursive

Steam and lutris for non steam games. You literally need to learn one program and navigate one singular menu is another and voila every computer game just kinda works, at least in my experience.

You don’t need to be a nationalist to hate nationalists. In fact it kinda helps if you aren’t.

Incorrect, get the guillotine
Welp, it’s time to move the entirety of all of my accounts to another email provider. Again. Ugh.

It’s good to know I’m not the only one who thinks this way. That marble analogy is on point. The US is built on mutually beneficial structures. When one cabal of structures starts targeting others, the functionality of the whole country flounders and rebellion is legitimized.

But they can make up excuses for their arsenal for whenever they want to ban a site they don’t like from common eyes.
“It was banned because it was pornography”
“It was banned because it was displaying pirated content”
“It was banned because it harmed the public good”
They want control over what the common people can see, hear, say, and think.
That would be funny but better yet, the entire line of cars gets the feature deleted from them and customers are reimbursed the entire value of the car plus interest in exchange for having risked their lives testing an unstable and dangerous vehicle.
