I’d like to see recycable bike tires, too! Bike tires suffer similar problems. And my bikes go through tires fairly quick.

Same, but cars in general now. I used to look forward to driving, but now I’m sick of it. Biking and ebikes have made going places fun again :)
I want more pneumatic tube systems. I don’t care what it’s used for. They are super satifying and analog.
Good luck getting people to waste a ton of gas and time going into the office every day. Even before the pandemic, everyone was already using teams for meetings virtually. I think we had physical meetings a few times a year at most, and even then, some people were virtual.
About the Super Load
This is the twelfth of nearly two dozen “super loads” that will make their way from a dock on the Ohio River near Manchester in Adams County to New Albany in Licking County.
Heh. So many innuendos.
Teams will show you as away even if you are watching a security training video or reading a long email…or waiting for a bunch of dataflows to refresh. It’s a really bad way of calculating if someone is away.
I’m always shocked by this. In a world with seatbelt laws, crumple zones, backup cameras, pinch protection, etc we allow people to ride motorcycles that consistently get injured or killed. How they haven’t gotten banned or stupidly restricted is beyond me. Even with a motorcycle lane, getting in a wreck at 75mph would be seriously bad.
In my state, I’m pretty sure you can ride a motorcycle legally with a helmet and a tshirt on, but get pulled over and fined for not wearing a seatbelt, lol.
This was super interesting! I like the connected greenspace approach with multiple buildings with different amenities instead of all buildings just having the same micro gym/kitchen/micro greenspace idea.
Single staircase designs, too.
Some are 25% now, and don’t even break the bank. You can get modules that store the power and feed it back into your house for use later. I kinda want to get some to offset heating and cooling costs.

I wish we could offload podcasts and audio books. I have zero interest in them, or paying for them.
There were bug chasers during the pandemic, too. >_>
They’d have everything to lose. Everyone wants those machines. Disabling or destroying those machines is like slashing the only nice life raft on the open ocean. Sure, there are others, but they have cracked rubber and don’t seem as firm. Bleeding edge fabs are the oil of the 21st century.
I use an Oxford Monster chain and U lock. I park my bike in highly visible areas. Registered it with 529 garage and have the tracking sticker on it. And if I’m really sketched out, I activate a bike alarm that is ungodly loud.
Mostly, it’s about making your bike harder to steal. Cutting through 12mm chain and a standard ulock sucks. Getting caught with it being easily identified on 529 makes it risky to steal and easy to be returned. Some cities also do bike valet or bike lockers.
Inb4 “both parties are the same”.
While I hate stuff like these rollbacks, we are already starting to see EVs save people money on gas and service, and they are stupidly fast compared to ICE counterparts. That’s something Americans of all stripes can get behind.
Once I tried an ebike, I realized I never wanted to go back to gas engines. So fast, so much torque, and pennies to charge vs $70 gas tanks at Costco (even more at a normal gas station). It just makes economic sense to run PEVs in all major urban areas in addition to mass transit.
With traffic and some protected bike lanes, even a conventional bike can almost beat a car in a 7-14 mile drive in my city. An ebike makes it even easier.
Not to mention google and apple deliberately C&Ding stuff like the awesome first party youtube apps and stuff like project islandwood. They deliberately tried to stop their apps from working because they knew what would happen if WP succeeded.
Elon Musk vs. Twitter, lol (timestamped)
They already have Spot dogs that can do fire supression. But they need the mechanical arm that the newer revisions introduced.
We will continue to wait for the holy grail of micro LED monitors and phones. So far, all of my OLED phones have burnt in around the 5 year mark. Avoiding OLED like the plague for longer lasting devices like Monitors, TVs and (god forbid) car displays.
If I were you, I’d grab an ebike before tariffs on them go up. It can be a major gamechanger in a city. Saves a lot of money on gas and parking fees if you just want to hit the beach/park/commute to work. Kicking myself for not buying one sooner. Radpower, Juiced, and Aventon have pretty affordable options, and my car has been pretty much left alone most of the spring and early summer.
Grabbed one for $1,200 and have put 624 miles on it in the past three or so months.
