I’d bet money that PP also is unsure as to whether he can actually get the clearance or doesn’t want to disclose what is required to get the clearance. At that level you need to disclose your assets and liabilities, previous convictions/criminal charges if any and go through a security interview. It makes me wonder what he is hiding financially or otherwise. Do we want a PM that can’t even get a high level clearance ffs?

Bet CRA spent more than $43k on court costs and time to chase down this bullshit. Really doing your jobs, guys. Why don’t you go tax some billionaires instead and actually get some fucking significant money out of it rather than harassing the little guy.

I think the issue that most people are missing is that we need to increase our tax-paying population because our social safety net is going to be drained by the aging boomers. We’re not having kids so if we still want to fund things like CPP, EI, healthcare, etc, we need to replace that population and then some.

We could choose not to allow an influx of immigration but then we may be sacrificing some of those social services I mentioned.

I don’t disagree. I feel the Ntl post is positioning this according to their own narrative and agenda (PostMedia owners are ALSO elites as per that definition).
