/bin confused me for a while because I thought it meant ‘this stuff is trash, don’t worry about it’.

I started on Unix systems using Vim, so I find Nano to be the confusing editor. A Vim install is one of the first things I do on a new server.
Two men holding hands.
I doubt they’d block alternate launchers as they seem happy enough hosting them on Google Play.
Side-loading will be safe as Android being open is its whole deal. The EU are forcing Apple to be more open so there’s no way Google wants a target on their back.
My wife is used to FLauncher and will probably get annoyed if I change the Shield’s interface (again…) but maybe I’ll try it out on the Google TV Chromecast I have for holiday trips.
Just gotta stick FLauncher, SmartTube, Jellyfin, and Stremio on it and it seems solid.
I’ve seen it a couple of times when searching on DDG.
Looking forward to the Kevin Fang video in a few years.
I think the developer of SmartTube might already have a fix for their app. I haven’t tested myself but people are looking happy in the Telegram channel.
It’s so we can make silly AI songs to send to each other :)
You’ve gotta defend for an infinite amount of time, but they’ve only gotta succeed once.
The occasional times I need to use Twitch I either VPN to Romania or use S0undTV.
Anything that makes it distinct gives a blocking opportunity, I assume?
Mostly that IPOs put companies into ‘infinite growth mode’ which is obviously impossible, so their product just degrades over time. They can’t just do ‘good enough’ anymore.
I got a ‘LePotato’ a few years back when Pi had stock issues, and it worked quite well as a Pi 4 clone.
I’ve considered setting one up for myself for very specific content on my own server, but I’m not sure where I’d start with it. It doesn’t seem as simple as kicking up a docker-compose file.
Nah just when I bought it. I did this a while ago so I’m not sure if it still works.
I’m gonna cling onto the quid a month rate for dear life.
I use YT Music because I get it cheap (VPN shenanigans), you can upload your own music (hello Nintendo soundtracks), and I mod the Android app to stop it being a mess (ReVanced Extended is the GOAT).
Poor Nintendo really need the win :( /s
