NON SERVIAM.
I miss when Youtube had community sourced subtitles and those little annotations on the video…
Lemmy is far from anonymous.
Now that it’s owned by IGN expect it to become even worse.
One has to wonder why corporations are fined such low amounts, in a just world these big corps would be fined in the tens of billions at the lowest.
Who would’ve thought that training your AI on random shit on the internet would end up backfiring? 🤔
Yeah no, fuck that. I don’t want to be carrying a pocketful of bills and coins when I can just have a card that does the same.
Not being stuck inside of an echo chamber really does wonders for the brain. And yes, I know the irony of saying this on Lemmy, but it’s true.
That is amazing! It’s a toy car in human size LMAO!
Rare based move from Nintendo.
Which is why nobody should use laws as a measure of morality, because they’re often fucking stupid.
An ad isn’t going to convince me to buy anything.
That’s what you think. But it stays in your subconscious and whenever you may need something related to that ad your brain might remember it and influence your actions. You’re only truly immune to ads if you completely avoid them, which is impossible in modern society, you’re constantly being subconsciously influenced by them whether you like it or not.
Soon enough Google will be injecting ads in your dreams.
While I agree with the sentiment, I feel like activitypub/fediverse would be unsustainable if it ever went mainstream without some form of capitalist investment to keep things running.
If you needed any more reason not to post photos of your kids online, well…
I’ll pretend I understand there’s a difference. :)
It’s worse than that, washing the car even in wash mode will damage the car because the fucking thing is made out aluminum stainless steel, you know, a mineral that corrodes if exposed to water long enough. It’s mind boggling how badly designed this car is.
Edit: sorry, confused my minerals there.
Won’t someone please think of the rich!! 😭
Jesus that’s creepy as hell the way it gets up and contorts all around, but also really cool somehow…
I hope this pans out, because I’ve long ago lost hope on Firefox being a worthy alternative to Chromium.
