A telling excerpt from the PMO statement:

“They [Canada’s negotiators] have worked hard, in good faith, to defend the interests of Canadians throughout these negotiations up until the very last minute. However, last-minute changes in the U.S. proposed terms were unfair, uneconomic, and called into question the reliability of any deal.”

I sense that Team Donnie Dementia can’t keep themselves from renegotiating their own deal before it’s even made.

It was always going to be that. You can’t negotiate or trust who continuously bargains in bad faith and readjusts goalposts. We’re not a fucking vassal state!

Dementia is very significantly advanced. A Narcisist liar forcing all minions to believe his own lies transitions to dementia by total absurdity of the lies, and strategy delusions to win anything.

The bad: SAVE voter rigging act where his hick redneck base don’t have the airport IDs they would need to vote, to falling for Netanyahu manipulation into a collapsing war

The ugly: Pushing South Korea and Canada away through absurd demands from joining the war (US desperation for SK weapons they are untrained on) to formalizing colonial subjugation before ink is even dry on other concessions.

The pure dementia: 20% toll/tariff on all shipping through SoH. SoH is US territory. “Economic D-day but details come later” against entire world. Blockade certain to destroy economy prior to mid terms in addition to risking more direct alliances with Iran and against the US, and certain to unify Iran to wait for his impeachment.
