Other browsers have native ad-block and you don’t need add-ons.
Which ones? I only know Brave but i’d like to avoid it
Funnily enough, Firefox basically has it, with its Tracking Protection. The vast majority of ads use tracking, so get blocked by it.
Aside from the ones that install ublock by default that they are many I think waterfox got it’s own adblock now. idk
I am half sure it’s treated as an extension tho.
Ad blocking is too important to depend on a browser vendor for it.
uBlock Origin kept updating basically just-in-time in the great YouTube ad war. No browser vendor can or even just tries to match that level of dedication and quality. Ad blocking needs to be pluggable - also because of SponsorBlock which is essential for YouTube.
