Canada’s approach to airline strikes pits the need for reliable air travel against the constitutionally protected right to strike. Other countries show there is a workable middle ground.
Has anyone considered trying not being total shit to employees? No? Ok.
WestJet actually used to be one of the best companies in Canada to work for. PE ruined them.
PE ruins everything it touches.
Bullshit. Total bullshit. What middle ground? Only fucking over the workers and customers a little, instead of a lot? Jesus, what a joke.
We know the airlines are making a lot of profit, at the expense of the workers, and then someone says middle ground, as if that means anything.
Tell you what, next time airlines go on strike, make the company executives pay the cost of it all, and then we’ll see how quickly everything gets fixed.
Because labour is needed to do stuff. I hope this helps.
FYI, in Canada, they spell it “labour”.
