        In BC, Punjabi, Mandarin, and Cantonese each have roughly equal numbers to French speakers, and there are few French speaking enclaves, unlike Manitoba. If you’re in Richmond, retail signs and ads are often Chinese first, etc.

            Yes, by .25%. Mandarin is .3% less at 6.36% – splitting hairs.

            I am in favour of franco-anglo bilingualism, but would like a postcolonial and regional approach.

            I fully expect salish languages to become more popular as well in the next couple of generations.

    As a monolingual I agree with making the province bilingual. We should guarantee more services and more education opportunities to more Canadians.

    why have the headline in english when it is not in english?
    lets separate even more people in canada so even more of them will hate each other…
    have some more people demand you speak their language when they want medial help from the public system. lets bog down canada in even more debt funding services in 20 languages so there is NO CHANCE you will live when you go to an ER in canada, or need any help staying alive.

        I’m intimately involved with him in the politics of our region. He’s nothing but a showboater, and he actually hates his own people. Nothing but a power-grabbing career politician, the worst kind.

        Every indigenous organization that I’ve worked with detests him, as he cannot be trusted

        Here he is jabbering shit about bilingualism, meanwhile he completely ignores the actual social problems in our province
